Reflexology Level 3 Diploma Syllabus
There are 2 pre requisites to our level 3 diploma course in Reflexology. We ask that you have a level 3 diploma in Anatomy and Physiology and have undertaken a Health & Safety module.
Both of these can be done on line and if you click on the LINKS button at the top of the page, this will direct you to approved online courses for both of these.
It is a good idea to have both these components complete before undertaking any therapy, then you can concentrate and enjoy learning the therapy you have chosen to study.
Our Reflexology course is run over 130 contact teaching hours. Our groups are no bigger than 8 to one tutor and it is possible that we can teach you on an individual basis, so that your learning isn't restricted to group timings.
If you are learning as an individual, then we can structure the lesson length and timing to try and suit your needs. We strongly advise though, not cramming the teaching time into a shorter duration, but that we aim for regular sessions over no less than 36 weeks.
We feel very strongly that you will feel more confident with your skills if the learning process is not rushed.
You will learn how to tailor your treatments to meet a clients individual needs and not just follow a set routine. We do not work from pre set foot charts but teach you how to place the body on the foot or hand (As the original pioneers would have done)
Additional to the teaching time, you would need to factor in about 120 hours of home study that would include course work and case studies
Assessment is by observation of treatments given and through a written and oral test of the underpinning knowledge.
The greatest medicine of all is teaching people how not to need it.
